This is another double page spread for a music magazine. Compared with the earlier one this one has a lot less text. The main image covers nearly both pages, and there is only a small amount of text. Although the heading for this page is very clear and visible whereas the other one wasn't.
The main image is of a band, the front man is placed in the middle of the pages and is more forward that the other two which makes it clear who he is.
The colour scheme is tinted a pale red colour, with pale white text. The band's outfits match very well with this, but are also eye catching because they stand out, such as the glitter and stripes.
There is 2 sets of text, the large one which introduces the band, this is in larger bold white and at a slight angle to make it eye catching. The main body text is much smaller more formal text, which is times new roman font and black.
The title is placed at the bottom of the page over the main picture, its a more elegant text compared to the others. The makes it eye catching, when you look at the page my immediately focuses on the large of the the title.

Double page spread
This double page spread is very minimalistic, it has a very simple design. The main article with the the text is on one page only while the other page is a picture only. There is limited colour, the text and picture are black and white, the only colour is the red L that covers the text. The text is a formal times new roman font, which i think emphasises the simple theme. I really like this idea, i like the colours and the simple design. It looks very professional and sophisticated, which means it will appeal to a wider audience. There isn't really anything that i don't like about this double page spread, when i make my music magazine, i will use this for inspiration as this is the sort of design i hope to achieve.
Music magazine
My second piece of coursework will be a music magazine. My task is to create a front cover, contents page and a double page spread and i will be using a minimum of 4 of my own images. I will again be using DTP and image manipulation programme and i will continue to use this blog to record my progress.
